Property Tax Bills
Richland County real estate tax bills are mailed in December. First Installments or full payments are due and payable to your Local Municipal Treasurer by January 31. Second installments are due to the Richland County Treasurer by July 31. – Failure to receive a tax bill does not affect the validity of the tax bill or the collection of delinquencies.
If your property is your primary residence as of January 1, you qualify for a lottery credit on that year’s tax bill. Please check your tax bill to be certain you have been given a lottery credit, if you qualify. Please contact the Richland County Treasurer’s Office to obtain a lottery credit claim form or forms are also available online.

Pay Taxes
Pay Online – Richland County, WI
Richland County offers the payment options of E-Checks, Debit Card and Credit Card payments online from March 1 to December 1. These payments are through an internet interface through Point and Pay, LLC . This service is turned off during the Local Treasurers collection period. Point & Pay charges a convenience fee to process these payments. This fee is paid directly to Point & Pay and Richland County does not receive any portion of this fee.
To pay taxes online, you will need to know your parcel numbers and amounts which can be found by clicking the View Tax Parcel Information Link below. Be sure to select correct “Tax Year” below Owner Information. – View Tax Parcel Information

Convenience Fees
E-Checks = $1.50 for payments up to $10,000.00 for unlimited number of parcels & $10.00 for payments over $10,000.00
E-Checks are Electronic checks so you will need your checking account number and routing number, not Debit Card number.
Credit Cards = 2.39% of Total Amount of Payment on unlimited number of parcels.
Example: If payment is for $500.00 the convenience fee would be $11.95.
Debit Cards =$3.95 flat fee.
* These services are not available from December 1st to March 1st.
